[ Rei just flaps a hand at Eichi's thanks; Rei doesn't care much for the obligations of society, and ... well, he's just taking care of Eichi, isn't he? It's his fault to begin with, in a few different ways. He'd be a pretty terrible "God" if he wasn't at least a little accountable for things like this.
He lays down some towels over the wet spots that Eichi's left in a trail to the bathroom and gives them a half-hearted scrub with his foot to make sure they won't completely ruin the finish on the floor. He leaves them where they are, though, like a damp trail of breadcrumbs that shows exactly where Eichi has been in the house.
For now, at least.
By the time Eichi gets out of the bathroom, Rei's changed -- into a a loose, worn t-shirt with some American metal band's logo on the front and a pair of house shorts. ]
I'll hang up all the clothes later. [ No point in hanging things up to dry when it's still rainy... which means Eichi is either going to have to stay longer than anticipated, or wear Rei's clothes when he leaves.
Rei can't say he really minds the thought of the latter. ]
My room's upstairs, unless ya wanna do somethin' else first. [ Getting food or small talk or -- whatever people do when they're nervous; Rei knows that kind of thing is probably how Eichi would do things, if it was entirely up to him, if the circumstances weren't already so far out of control.
As it is, though, Rei doesn't think Eichi is going to be putting anything off. Not with the way his tail dents the robe in the back.
That's awful cute, actually. Maybe Rei should procrastinate more. ]
