[They both could, he thinks. He's so exhausted, but now that they're quiet and trying to sleep, it takes him a little longer to actually fall asleep himself. He's too busy thinking of all of the ways today wasn't so bad at all. Even with the fall, the scare, the blocking curse... He can handle all of it. Optimism is there, unwilling to move.
Now that he is asleep, though, he's so comfortable that it's difficult to wake up. Morning arrives, and he still doesn't want to, tangled up with Dextera even more than when he'd originally fallen asleep. It's chilly in the morning by the water, and the blankets and Dextera are a lot more inviting in their warmth.
Every time he thinks that he should get up and do something so they can get moving, he remembers that they're not in a hurry. They should take their time. It's fine. And with that, he can relax and soak in this comfort even more.
So, he's going to be a lazy bum as long as he can.]
