90s sadness and gay???
[By this point, Leon has lost track of how long he's been searching for Count D. It became an obsession that only grew with time, and now he couldn't keep to one spot anymore. Not while D was still out there. Across cities, across countries, he probably looked insane to everyone around him. But they didn't know the half of it! Sometimes even Leon wasn't sure he understood what he was doing.
Right now wasn't the time to doubt himself, though. He'd hoped that this lead would get him even an inch closer to his goal, but he hadn't counted on spotting him in the streets. It had to be him. He'd seen him turn and look at him, and those eyes—]
Wait! Stop right there!
[He doesn't hold back, shoving his way through the crowded streets and keeping his eyes locked on him. It doesn't work, because of course it doesn't, and his steps slow in his confusion. His heart is beating way too fast, his stomach sinks, and for a moment he's sure he's lost his one chance.
But something catches the corner of his eye, and his instinct tells him to turn. He reaches out, grabbing the first wrist he can and meeting D's eyes with his own.]
...Found you.

That just means we're a good match.
[Yeah... yeah!!]
no subject
I will remember that the next time you start a ridiculous argument.
no subject
[With that lie, he'll roll more effectively on top of D so that he can kiss him better. Daringly, he even kisses the corner of his mouth, and then his jaw, slowly.]
You're the one who's always starting things.
no subject
Well, I simply don't agree. You are the difficult one.
no subject
[Arguing about arguing, but Leon's words get more distracted by the second. He only mutters that against D's neck with a tentative kiss, one of his hands moving to rest lightly over D's chest. It sits there, too nervous to move for the time being.]
no subject
[He's not even putting effort into this argument anymore, but it's still going. If Leon is at an impasse, though, that's a very serious problem. D shifts slightly again, bending his leg at the knee to bump that knee against Leon's hip, all while he drags his hand more slowly up his back this time. Come on!!]
no subject
The most he can manage in reply to this 'argument' is a cross between a hum and a grunt. He's thoroughly distracted.]

It was a great idea to keep his shirt off. Really saves time. Even where D's touches are light and pretty much gentle, there's still a particular kind of possessiveness in the way his fingers press decisively against skin. If anyone has mastered the art of reminding himself and maybe Leon too that he's very much D's now with each dip of his hand over a curve of muscle, well.
Even his makeouts are crazy...]
no subject
His hand smooths down with much more hesitation, not so daring as to slide D's clothing out of the way. He moves over it, fingers curling to crumple cloth but never shoving it out of the way. It's... different when he's already not wearing his shirt. If he starts undressing D, that's a little too fast too soon, right? His heart is pounding and he wants all of whatever this heavy feeling is, but... He has to make sure he can still breathe.
He leans back up to catch D's lips and kisses him again.]
no subject
Leon's kiss distracts him sufficiently from that line of thinking, pulling him back to thinking about here and now, kissing, and not about keeping him forever and ever. He hums against his lips, apparently satisfied, and slips one of his hands back up into his hair again to hold him there. When the kiss breaks he shifts just enough to move down, angling to kiss Leon's jaw and then down his neck.
Give that a moment, and...] Do you remember when you suspected me of being a vampire? Goodness.
[this is the opportune time and place for this bullshit, thanks D]
no subject
What else was I supposed to think? It all matches up! [Shut up, leave him alone!!]
no subject
In which movie? I could hardly believe you met a vampire and still accused me of being one.
no subject
[How many times has he said this, lying here in this bed?? Too many. And D still hasn't shut up. But Leon will grumpily turn his head down at the nudge, eyeing him quietly. He likes this, despite how flustered he keeps getting right when he feels like he might relax. It's... comfortable, in its own way.]
You look like a vampire. Get out in the sun more and maybe I wouldn't think that.
no subject
So of course he looks righteously offended by this even though he really isn't, tugging lightly at Leon's hair in serious revenge.]
I spend plenty of time in the sun! I simply do not tan.
[Or something... a plant thing.]
no subject
[He grabs at that hand doing the hair pulling, scoffing.] Sounds like an excuse to me. You didn't even like the beach! What, do you burn or something?
[There are no dummy guides for dating a plant... So he says things like this.]
no subject
I thought the beach was just fine. You were the one complaining!
no subject
Lounging under an umbrella is not enjoying the beach. I'm taking you swimming some time, and you're just gonna have to deal with it.
[He will drag him into the ocean.]
no subject
Which part of being on the beach is 'not enjoying the beach'? I don't like to swim.
no subject
[there is no "no" here]
no subject
[no no no no no no]
no subject
That's not any fun! You can argue all you want, but I'll drag you in with me. [D can Deal with it.]
no subject
Perhaps all of our vacations will be in the mountains instead.
no subject
[He's said it... He said the words!! Also he's not against literally shoving D out the door while he's groggy and grumpy at 7 am.]
no subject
And honestly, dating is outside of his comfort zone period, but that's too rude to say even for D.]
Then I wish you luck, but I am telling you now I will not be going for a swim.
no subject
[Whatever... this is all a silly conversation because they're shy about kissing, anyway. He loosens his grip on D's hand just to lean closer to him and kiss at his jaw. Hmm.]
What else do you wanna interrupt me with?
