90s sadness and gay???
[By this point, Leon has lost track of how long he's been searching for Count D. It became an obsession that only grew with time, and now he couldn't keep to one spot anymore. Not while D was still out there. Across cities, across countries, he probably looked insane to everyone around him. But they didn't know the half of it! Sometimes even Leon wasn't sure he understood what he was doing.
Right now wasn't the time to doubt himself, though. He'd hoped that this lead would get him even an inch closer to his goal, but he hadn't counted on spotting him in the streets. It had to be him. He'd seen him turn and look at him, and those eyes—]
Wait! Stop right there!
[He doesn't hold back, shoving his way through the crowded streets and keeping his eyes locked on him. It doesn't work, because of course it doesn't, and his steps slow in his confusion. His heart is beating way too fast, his stomach sinks, and for a moment he's sure he's lost his one chance.
But something catches the corner of his eye, and his instinct tells him to turn. He reaches out, grabbing the first wrist he can and meeting D's eyes with his own.]
...Found you.

Right. [So they're... boyfriends. Or is it just dating before they become official these days? Is there weird Chinese stuff he has to know about dating? Thoughts like this cross his mind briefly, but thankfully, he lets it fall away and decides to just do what he wants and not think so much. That seems to be working.]
Just warn me ahead of time. [Before the date... He needs to be mentally prepared.]
no subject
I will. [Like, with an hour to spare, maybe.] You're worrying about it. It's perfectly fine.
[stop...]
no subject
[He lies and turns his face closer into D. Okay, maybe he is worrying a little. Just stop thinking, Leon, you got this.] There's nothing wrong with needing some prep time. We'll have a great time.
no subject
You will have your prep time. [don't WORRY] Speaking of dinner, I suppose we should dine in tonight...
[What mysterious Italian dish should he try to feed Leon this time? Stay tuned.]
no subject
Other times, like now, he feels comfortable. He watches D and thinks about weird Italian food and how he can kiss him at any time. It's a nice thought.]
Yeah, I guess so. What kind of stuff do you have?
no subject
But hmm, meanwhile, what kind of food does he have...]
Vegetarian...?
no subject
[Please!! Ah, but wait, D wouldn't make HIM go vegetarian, would he? Nah, there's no way. He can cook his own meat, he can't be stopped!! Maybe he'll only get it while he's out? Something like that, yeah.]
What about a pizza?
no subject
You want to order a pizza.
[Okay... but that's so American...]
no subject
[Don't they have pizza hut here??? No??] I've been wanting a pizza since I got here.
no subject
It will not be what you're expecting, but alright. I suppose we can... order a pizza.
[Except one problem: He's never ordered a pizza in his life. Does he have a phonebook lying around? What year is it??]
no subject
[He's going to lounge back on the couch. D has this, surely. Him and his Italian. He has no idea that D has never done this before... Somehow he can't grasp the idea.] Don't sound so worried about it.
no subject
Hmm. What would you like on it?
no subject
[He pauses.] Nothing weird like anchovies, though.
no subject
Alright, nothing "weird." [...] Are you terribly hungry, right now?
no subject
Not right now. We can wait a while.
no subject
Hmm. [He'll just settle in here, then.] I don't have a phone book. I will have to walk.
no subject
[Down the street is easy?? Is he going to end up fetching this pizza. Maybe...]
no subject
Only a few blocks. It's straight down the road, not a single turn.
no subject
As long as they're not closing anytime soon, we don't have to worry about it right away.
no subject
It is your pizza. Just say the word.
no subject
[It's weird to just decide when he wants to spend D's money on food. Maybe he's still hung up on the whole not having a job thing. Hrmm. Well, right now, what does he want to do...?
He glances around the room, at the weird lamp, the table, and then back at D. More gay staring is apparently what he wants to do right now.]
Let's just wait for a while.
no subject
But eventually Leon probably has to eat, so after an undetermined length of Gay Staring time one of his ancient clocks chimes, and he reluctantly glances at it.]
Goodness, is that the time already? [perhaps it is indeed Pizza Hour]
no subject
[Were they gay staring for that long... What the fuck. What the fuck?? He shifts, making sure D isn't going to fall over as he stands up from the couch. He's fine, this is fine.]
I guess now's a good time to get that pizza.
no subject
Soon: the items. He doodled a little map on the back of the note, even though it's literally down the street until there's an X.]
Here you are. You shouldn't have to say anything.
no subject
Hopefully they don't try any friendly conversation.
[He'll be clueless. But well, this is the first step towards learning... or something.] Alright. I'll be right back.
[Off he goes on this Quest... if he hasn't returned in a normal amount of time then save him. But he'll probably make it back with the right pizza and everything!! What a good bf.]
